Bolojan: PNL still wants to contribute to finding a solution;Romania needs a new government quickly

Published on

National Liberal Party (PNL) Interim President Ilie Bolojan said that the Liberals still want to contribute to finding a solution, underscoring that Romania urgently needs a new government.

„The National Liberal Party still wants to contribute to finding a solution. The country is already in a complicated situation, and the failure to form a governing coalition will cost Romanians dearly. Romania needs a new government quickly, one that will responsibly create a new budget, take measures to boost the economy, and continue attracting European funds. I repeat, PNL is ready to take on responsibility in this entire effort,” said Bolojan, according to the PNL press office.

On Thursday, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu announced that PSD is withdrawing from the discussions for forming the Executive and will vote in Parliament for a right-wing government.
