Bucharest Stock Exchange on the rise after 40 minutes of trading

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) was up on almost all indices 40 minutes into the trading on Wednesday, with transactions amounting to 5.09 million RON (1,023 million euros).

The main BET index, which shows the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, saw a slight increase of 0.04%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, inched 0.01%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, increased by 0.04%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, appreciated by 0.03%.

Also, the BET-FI index of SIFs saw an increase by 0.29%, and BET-NG, the index of ten companies in the energy and utilities sector, increased by 0.10%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was the only one to fall, by 0.14%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in the value of shares were recorded by SIF Hotels (+14.84%), Romcab (+4.44%) and Conpet (+3.64%).

On the other hand, the shares of TTS- Transport Trade Services (-3.29%), Alro (-3.25%) and Comelf (-2.98%) were down.
