Bucharest Stock Exchange opens down Monday trading session

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Monday’s meeting down, with Ron 4.47 M (899,696 euros) recorded in trading in the first 30 minutes.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, saw a depreciation of 0.10%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, recorded a decrease of 0.10%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, lost 0.04%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.02%.

The BET-FI index of the SIFs saw an appreciation of 0.46%, and the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, recorded a 0.04% decline.

According to BVB data, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by Promateris (+8.22%), Electroarges (+7.88%) and Romcab (+6.12%).

On the other hand, the shares of Condmag (-9.09%), Mecanica Fina (-6.62%) and Prefab (-4.86%) were in decline.
