Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Friday’s session in the red

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Friday’s session with a decline, and turnover amounted to 6.655 million RON (1.338 million euros), 40 minutes after the start of transactions.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, registered a depreciation of 0.33%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BVB, recorded a decrease of 0.30%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, lost 0.29%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.57%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs rose by 0.13%, and the BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, decreased by 0.09%.

According to the BVB data, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by UCM Resita (+8.76%), Impact Developer&Contractor (+2.88%) and Romcarbon (+1.61%).

On the other hand, the shares of Transport Trade Services (-3.56%), Alro (-3.29%) and One United Properties (-2.86%) were in decline.
