Bucharest Stock Exchange opens in green on Wednesday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Wednesday’s meeting going up, with transactions totalling 2.75 million RON (552,599 euros) 30 minutes into the trading.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, saw an appreciation of 0.36%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BSE, was increasing by 0.34% .

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, rose by 0.32%, while the performance benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, was up by 0.42% .

The BET-FI index of SIFs recorded a 0.27% increase, and the BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, gained 0.37%.

According to BVB data, Erste Group Bank AG (+2.62%), Teraplast (+2.03%) and AAGES (+1.45%) saw the biggest increases in share value.

On the other hand, the shares of Zentiva (-2.49%), Turbomecanica (-2.47%) and UCM Resita (-1.45%) were decreasing.
