Bucharest Stock Exchange opens in the green on Friday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) started Friday’s session in the green, with transactions totalling 10.28 million RON (2.06 million euros) one hour into the trading.

The main BET index, which shows the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, saw an increase of of 0.60%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, was up 0.56%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, rose 0.44%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, was up 0.554%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs saw a decrease of 0.10%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, was increasing by 0.47%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Turism Felix (+9.46%), Bermas (+6%) and Transilvania Broker de Asigurare (+5.17%).

On the other hand, the shares of Mecanica Ceahlau (-14.41%), Artego (-7.88%) and Altur (-7.59%) were decreasing.
