Bucharest Stock Exchange opens mixed trading session on Monday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened with a mixed evolution of the indices on Monday, with the value of exchanges amounting to 3.31 million RON (665,780 euros), 45 minutes into the trading.

The main BET index, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, saw an appreciation of 0.16%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BVB, saw an advance of 0.15%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid titles, opened down by 0.09%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, „lost” 0.01 % of value.

The BET-FI index of the SIFs decreased by 2.01%, and the BET-NG, the index of the ten companies in the energy and utilities sector, saw an appreciation of 0.28%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, was down by 0.37%.

According to the BVB data, the biggest increases in the value of the shares were recorded by the companies Mecanica Ceahlau (+7.55%), Roca Industry Holdingrock1 (+2.47%) and Rompetrol Well Services (+1.97%).

On the other hand, the shares of Sinteza (-10.07%), Carbochim (-8.96%) and Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-6.13%) were decreasing.
