Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Thursday’s session in the red

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) started the Thursday session down on all indices, and turnover amounted to 44.737 million RON (8.99 million euros) one hour after the start of transactions.

The main BET index, which the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, registered a depreciation of 1.36%, and the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares from the BVB, recorded a 1.33% decrease.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid securities, decreased by 1.23%, while the yield benchmark of investment funds, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.97%.

The BET-FI index of the SIFs was down by 1.03%, and the BET-NG, the index of the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, fell by 0.54%.

According to BVB data, the biggest increases in the value of shares were recorded by SIF Hoteluri (+11.22%), Condmag (+8.33%) and AAGES (+2.46%).

On the other hand, the shares of Industrial Group Electrocontact (-7%), Banca Transilvania (-4.7%) and Prebet (-4.69%) were down.
