Bucharest Stock Exchange opens Wednesday’s trading session in the green

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened in the green on Wednesday, with turnover totaling 8.3 million RON (1.6 million EUR), after 30 minutes from the start of the trading session.

The main index BET, which shows the evolution of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an increase of 0.30%, the same as the BET-Plus index, which shows the evolution of the 43 most liquid shares of the BVB.

The broad blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, was up 0.32%, while the benchmark for investment fund returns, BET-BK, gained 0.59%.

At the same time, the BET-FI index of the five financial investment companies was up 0.35% and the sectoral energy and related utilities index BET-NG, was up 0.25%.

The BET AeRO index of 20 AeRO leading companies, was up 0.24%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Green Tech International (+4.00%), Alro (+3.04%) and BVB (+2.75%).

Conversely, there was downward trend in the shares of Aeta (-6.85%), SIF Hotels (-3.48%) and Evergent Investments (-0.68%.
