Bucharest Stock Exchange opens with mixed results trading session on Tuesday

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday’s session with mixed results, the total value of the transactions reaching 2.91 million RON (586,748 euros) 30 minutes into the trading.

The main BET index, which shows the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, increased slightly, by 0.01%, while the BET-Plus index, which shows the performance of the 43 most liquid shares on the BVB, lost 0.03%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, of the 25 most liquid stocks, fell by 0.09%, while the benchmark for investment fund performance, BET-BK, was down by 0.24%.

The BET-FI index of SIFs depreciated by 0.67%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 companies in the energy and utilities sector, increased by 0.09% after 30 minutes since the opening of the transactions.

BETAeRO, which includes 20 representative companies on the AeRO market, saw a decline of 0.07%.

According to BVB data, the largest increases in share value were recorded by Aeta (+7.41%), Santierul Naval Orsova (+4.35%) and Safetech Innovations (+1.68%).

On the other hand, the shares of Sinteza (-3.42%), Bittnet Systems Bucuresti (-2.11%) and One United Properties (-2%) were decreasing.
