BVB stocks open Monday’s session mostly higher

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) stocks opened Monday’s session mostly higher, on trades of RON 9.61 million (EUR 1.93 million ) an hour into the trading session.

The main BET index reflecting the developments in the 20 most liquid stocks rose by 0.11%, and the BET-Plus index reflecting the developments in the 43 most liquid BVB stocks followed suit.

The extended blue-chip BET-XT index of the 25 most liquid stocks was up 0.11%, and the BET-BK index, the Bucharest exchange trading benchmark index, was up 0.14%.

The BET-FI index of financial brokerage stocks decreased by 0.17%, while BET-NG, the index of 10 energy and utilities stocks, decreased by 0.13%.

According to BVB, the top three risers were Condmag (+6.67%), IAR Brasov (+3.91%) and Compania Energopetrol (+3.26%).

On the other hand, the top three fallers were Societatea de Constructii Napoca (-6.25%), Romcab (-4%) and Sinteza (-3.42%).
