Romania’s coal production amounted to 330,600 tons of oil equivalent (toe) in the first two months of 2025, 4.1% lower (minus 14,100 toe) than in the same period last year, according to data centralized by the National Institute of Statistics (INS).
Imports of coal amounted to 3,800 toe in the mentioned period, down by 20,100 (minus 84.1%) compared to January-February 2024.
