Code Red thunderstorm advisory issued for certain areas in Suceava County

The National Weather Administration (ANM) issued on Tuesday a Code Red thunderstorm advisory effective for approximately one hour until 16:30 for several areas in Suceava County.

According to the weather authority, the localities of Suceava, Salcea, Dumbraveni, Udesti, Scheia, Bosanci, Ipotesti, Moara, Adancata, Mitocu Dragomirnei, Stroiesti and Siminicea will see downpours that could exceed 40 liters/sqm, frequent lightning, strong wind gusts, and get battered by medium and large-sized hail.

Nowcasting advisories of dangerous weather phenomena are issued for a maximum period of six hours, ANM said.
