The Constitutional Court of Romania has registered two appeals against Crin Antonescu’s candidacy in the May presidential elections, sources from the CCR told AGERPRES on Wednesday.
According to the same sources, the constitutional judges are to analyze the appeals on Wednesday.
The Central Electoral Bureau (BEC) decided on Tuesday to register Crin Antonescu’s candidacy in the presidential elections.
Crin Antonescu, the candidate of the „Romania Forward” Electoral Alliance, filed his candidacy on Sunday, with a list signed by 1.7 million supporters.
A challenge against Maria Marcu’s candidacy will also be discussed on Wednesday.
