CSAT convened in session on October 12 to address drug use, Black Sea region situation, army endowment.

President Klaus Iohannis convened a meeting of the Supreme Council of Defense of the Country (CSAT) on October 12, at the Cotroceni Palace, the Presidential Administration informed on Wednesday, write Agerpres.

According to the source, the agenda of the meeting includes subjects related to the consumption of drugs or other narcotic substances by young people or students, major risk to individual and national security; developments regarding the security situation in the Black Sea region in the context of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine – implications for Romania; the endowment plan of the Romanian Army 2024 – 2033.

During the CSAT meeting, other topical issues in the field of national security will be analyzed, the Presidential Administration mentioned.
