The Supreme National Defense Council (CSAT) meets on Wednesday at the Cotroceni Palace, with the agenda including, among others, Romania’s participation in the European Response Plan – Readiness 2030 and the draft national defense law.
On April 23, the Presidential Administration announced that interim President Ilie Bolojan had convened the CSAT meeting, which will take place on Wednesday, at 2:00 p.m.
According to the cited source, the agenda of the CSAT meeting includes topics related to:
* Romania’s participation in the European Response Plan – Readiness 2030;
* Draft law on national defense of Romania;
* National plan regarding military mobility;
* The draft law on some measures necessary for the implementation of national security projects in the field of hydropower;
* National strategic vision in the space field.
„During the Council meeting, other current issues in the field of national security will also be analyzed,” the quoted source stated.
The last meeting of the CSAT took place on March 28. This was the first meeting chaired by interim president Ilie Bolojan.
