CultMin Turcan: National Film Archive terminating contract for Russian propaganda films broadcast

Published on

The National Film Archive is terminating the contract for the broadcast of two films considered Russian propaganda and which were to be shown at Cinema Eforie and Cinema Union, Culture Minister Raluca Turcan announced on Wednesday.

„It is unacceptable that such propaganda film productions, financed by the Russian state, in the context of the war unleashed by Russia in Ukraine, should benefit from screening spaces in public cinemas,” Raluca Turcan posted on Facebook.
