The inventory of movable heritage and the elimination of salary inequalities are among the topics discussed on Wednesday by Culture Minister Natalia Intotero with union representatives and museum managers under the authority of the ministry she leads.

„Today, as promised, together with my colleagues from the ministry, we sat down at the same table with the union representatives and managers of the museums under the Ministry of Culture. We aim for a real collaboration to find the best solutions for the cultural sector. (…) Culture deserves respect and support, and through a solid partnership with all involved parties, we will be able to build an equitable and functional system. The dialogue continues, and our goal remains clear: concrete solutions for culture!,” said Minister Natalia Intotero in a Facebook post.

According to her, the main topics discussed were: the inventory of movable heritage – initiating the inventory process in institutions under the Ministry of Culture; salaries – eliminating inequalities and identifying fair solutions; legislative changes for initiating competitions for managers in institutions led on an interim basis.

Also discussed were changes to the legal framework regarding the temporary export of movable heritage and ensuring the necessary resources for the protection of cultural objectives.
