Development Ministry signs 111 new contracts for energy efficiency, green mobility through PNRR

Development, Public Works and Administration Minister Cseke Attila signed 111 new funding contracts submitted through components C5 – the Renovation Wave and C10 – the Local Fund of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), according to Agerpres.

The contracts have been concluded between the local public authorities of 81 administrative-territorial units and the Development Ministry and they have a total value of 904,513,715.72 RON, a Development, Public Works and Administration (MDLPA) release mentions.

Thus, through the Renovation Wave, 18 contracts have been signed, worth 124,554,915.96 RON, which the local authorities from 7 localities submitted in order to increase the energy efficiency of some multifamily residential buildings and several public institutions (education units and administrative headquarters).

Through the Local Fund, 93 contracts have been signed, worth 779,958,799.76 RON, submitted by 74 administrative-territorial authorities in order to ensure the infrastructure for green transportation, through the purchase of some non-polluting vehicles, several recharging points for electric vehicles, intelligent urban/local management systems, the expansion of integrated traffic management systems, the installation of video monitoring systems and smart urban furniture, the digitalization of public transport, the implementation of intelligent parking solutions such as park&ride, as well as the construction of tracks for bicycles and other light electric vehicles.
