Easternmost county residents get RO-ALERT warning about objects possibly falling from the sky

The residents of the northern area of Tulcea County (south-eastern Romania) received in the early hours of Wednesday a RO-ALERT message warning them about the risk of objects falling from the sky in the vicinity of the border with Ukraine. 10 calls were placed with the 112 single emergency number announcing explosion noises, the Tulcea Emergency Management Inspectorate informs.

The RO-ALERT message was issued after the structures responsible for the defense and surveillance of Romania’s borders spotted around 02:10 several objects (drones) approaching the northern area of Tulcea County.

The air alert ended at 03:46.
