EduMin Deca, Albanian counterpart discuss collaboration potential in education

Education Minister Ligia Deca met in Tirana with her Albanian counterpart Ogerta Manastirliu, on which occasion she reiterated her interest in negotiating a new bilateral cooperation document in the area.

„In the context of the Ministerial Conference in Tirana, I had a meeting with the Albanian Minister of Education and Sport, Mrs Ogerta Manastirliu. On this occasion we reiterated our interest in negotiating a new bilateral document on cooperation in the area of education and developing cooperation in the area of higher education,” Deca wrote on Facebook on Friday.

She thanked the Albanian side for their help in taking over the Bologna Secretariat, which will be run by Romania and Moldova starting July.

Ligia Deca participated on Wednesday and Thursday in Tirana in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) Ministerial Conference and the Global Forum, events that bring together dignitaries in charge with higher education, representatives of students and higher education institutions.
