Foreign Affairs Ministry:Six out of 22 Romanians initially unaccounted for after Spanish floods found safe

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informs that six out of 22 Romanian nationals reported as missing on Thursday morning in the Spanish devastating floods were found to be safe and sound. The Ministry is checking through the Romanian Consulate in Castellon de la Plana information about 16 Romanian citizens possibly going missing, and maintains permanent contact with the Spanish authorities.

The Romanian Embassy in Madrid keeps in contact with the Spanish central authorities. Also, the representatives of the Romanian Consulate in Castellon de la Plana are in constant dialogue with the people who have reported possible cases of missing Romanians, as well as with those who have reported that they are facing difficult, urgent situations.
