Published on

The Victoria Governmental Palace will be illuminated on Tuesday evening in pink and blue to mark the Day of the Parents of Angels, according to a Government release.

Starting this year, Romania joins the countries that support families affected by the loss of children.

Law 186 was adopted on June 12, 2024, on the establishment of the Day of the Parents of Angels on October 15, which commemorates children who died during pregnancy, at birth or until the age of 18.

Recently, the government approved the implementing rules for this law, according to which parents in this tragic situation can benefit from psychological counseling paid by the state to overcome emotional trauma.
