IAR Brasov, net profit of 35.6 million RON in H1 2023

IAR Brasov recorded in the first half of this year a net profit of 35.637 million RON, double that of the same period in 2022, of 17.247 million RON, according to the data submitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange on Thursday, write Agerpres.

The company’s turnover amounted to 286.408 million RON (H1 2022 – 199.005 million RON), and the gross profit was 45.388 million RON (18.864 million RON in the first six months of last year). Revenues totaled 269.336 million RON, and expenses 223.948 million RON.

The IAR Brasov company, one of the pillars of the aviation industry in Romania, specializes in maintenance, repairs, major repairs (MRO), modernizations for the 330 Puma and 316 B Alouette III helicopters, the main activity of the company being that provided for in class 3316 of the CAEN (National Economy Activities Classification) Code – „Repair and maintenance of aircraft and spacecraft”.

IAR develops modernization programs, performs periodic overhauls, capital overhauls and ground and flight tests for the IAR 316 B Alouette III and IAR 330 Puma helicopters. The company provides the following after-sales services: ensuring navigability, providing spare parts and equipment repairs, technical assistance.

Also, the company provides training for the pilots and technicians of the beneficiaries, as well as „Follow-on-Support” type programs. The company’s shares are traded on the BVB since July 2015.
