Independent Member of the European Parliament Luis-Vicențiu Lazarus (NI) wonders why the European Commission, made up of politicians and bureaucrats who have not been elected by anyone, is imposing a 3% deficit on Romania and other countries.
Below is the full text of the statement made by Luis-Vicențiu Lazarus (NI), an independent member of the European Parliament:
„I have only one question to ask, but it is an absolutely fundamental one. So, when normality becomes abnormality and vice versa, does no one wonder why this European Commission, made up of politicians and bureaucrats elected by no one, is imposing a 3% deficit on Romania and other countries?
On what grounds? Who put the Commission in charge of deciding that we must have a 3% deficit? After all, this same Commission decided in the recent past to force us to buy vaccines.
That’s what Cîțu said, that we should ask Ursula who gave the order to buy the vaccines.
So, after you bought the vaccine and wasted the money, you come and climb on top of us, either with weapons or other nonsense, and say: you have to reduce the deficit. Well, who created the deficit? Wasn’t it you, in cahoots with the axe-wielders in Romania? Didn’t you create the deficit? So why should the people bear the burden? That is the question that remains.
Why does an external body appear, no matter who it is, with no business, to order a sovereign and independent country what to do with its money? Why? Where and how? Why is no one asking this question? Let’s think about it,” says Luis Lazarus.
