Independent Member of the European Parliament Luis-Vicențiu Lazarus (NI) spoke during debates in Strasbourg, saying that „Romania has not developed in all these years, in the 17 years since it joined the European Union.”

During debates in Strasbourg in April, independent MEP Luis-Vicențiu Lazarus (NI) told those present that „it is interesting that we have always pointed out that Romania has not developed in all these years, in the 17 years since it joined the European Union, in terms of rail and road infrastructure. But now we have seen Mr. Draghi and his report, which calls for €800 billion to make Europe competitive again.”
