Independent Member of the European Parliament Luis-Vicențiu Lazarus (NI): What Brussels wants and what we want! We have no government, and nobody cares!

Independent Member of the European Parliament Luis-Vicențiu Lazarus (NI) talks in a post about the deadlock in negotiations to form a government. What Brussels wants and what we want! We don’t have a government and nobody cares!

Below is the full text of the statement issued by Luis-Vicențiu Lazarus (NI), an independent member of the European Parliament:

„WHAT BRUSSELS WANTS AND WHAT WE WANT! WE DON’T HAVE A GOVERNMENT AND NO ONE CARES!

„On Monday, there is an extraordinary plenary session in Strasbourg. I was astonished to see the agenda. Looking at the country, I see that we still don’t have a government. There is no government because no one wants to take the chestnuts out of the fire. Or, more precisely, others don’t want to take the chestnuts out of the fire with their own hands.

At this moment, Romania’s big shots don’t understand each other again. They cannot agree on how to solve the government problem. Because the government problem means the tax problem. They cannot agree on how to steal money from your pockets, in short. That’s pretty much what it’s about.

Neither Brussels nor Strasbourg can get along with them. No one gets along with anyone, and no one cares. This is the funniest moment when you realize that there has been so much fuss that the elections in Romania were rigged by the Russian actor, who came in and stole our elections, and Călin Georgescu simply could not be president anymore.

People, we cannot accept this. The folks in Brussels said, „We’ll fix this as soon as we can. And we’ll give you another president.” So, a president who wasn’t even running became the president of Romania when no one was expecting it.

Now, of course, no one in Brussels or Strasbourg cares about what’s going on in Romania. Could it be because everything that happens in Romania happens according to an agenda that others have, not us? Could that be the reason?
