Starting next week, the garden and the interior of the Cotroceni Palace will be open to visitors.
„Every weekend, from Friday to Sunday, this entire area, including the interiors, will be open to citizens. There will be free access to the gardens, the inner courtyard and the church. The Palace itself will be integrated into the Cotroceni Museum circuit. This is a sign of respect for the citizens of Romania and a sign of openness from the Presidential Administration,” Interim President Ilie Bolojan told a press conference held on the Marinescu Plateau of the Cotroceni Palace.
He mentioned that ensuring transparency, openness and respect for citizens represents „a fundamental step” in regaining trust in state institutions.
„An important point is also the possibility of seeing the soldiers of the Guard Battalion. They will be present every weekend so that our children can be inspired by this elite of the Romanian Army,” said Interim President Ilie Bolojan.
