Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu is invited to Parliament on October 7 by the Save Romania Union (USR) group to present the results of the Government’s plan to reduce waste in the budgetary apparatus, in central and local government, in state companies and autonomous institutions.

„The USR parliamentary group requests the participation of Mr. Marcel Ciolacu, prime minister of Romania, for a debate organized at the ‘Prime Minister’s Question Time’ on October 7, in connection with the presentation before Parliament of the results of the Ciolacu Government’s plan to reduce waste in the budgetary apparatus, both in central administration, as well as in the local, state companies and autonomous institutions, a plan that has been announced and regulated since September 2023 by the Government’s assumption of responsibility on the draft law on some fiscal and budgetary measures to ensure Romania’s financial sustainability in the long term,” reads the request of the USR parliamentary group in the Chamber of Deputies.

The Chamber’s Standing Bureau has approved the request.
