The Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism (MAT) resumes the participation in international tourism fairs, and the theme for 2022 is „Feel Alive,” a concept that supports the development of the national tourism brand „Explore the Carpathian Garden,” according to a press release sent to Agerpres on Monday.
„After more than 6 months of preparation, public procurement, in partnership with the National Tourism Brand Council, we are more ready to represent the interests of our country at the biggest profile fairs: the WTM London [World Travel Market London], TTR Bucharest [Romania’s Tourism Fair], TT Warsaw [Tourism trade fair], IBTM Barcelona [Incentives, Business Travel & Meetings]. Together with the Romanian communities from the 3 states and the entrepreneurs from the country, we want to attract as many foreign tourists as possible to our country, especially since we have unbeatable arguments, from palliative natural resources, to ecotourism, rural tourism, city breaks and internationally recognized festivals. Good luck to all Romanian exhibitors!,” Entrepreneurship and Tourism Minister Constantin-Daniel Cadariu stated.
The theme for the 2022 tourism fairs, which the MAT and the representatives of the National Tourist Brand Council (CBTN) have selected is „Feel Alive,” a concept that supports the development of the national tourist brand „Explore the Carpathian Garden.”
According to the quoted source, between 7 and 9 November, together with over 30 representatives of Romania’s relevant associations and local authorities, the MAT is attending the WTM London tourism fair, organized in Business-to-Business (B2B) format.
„Among the actions organized at the Romania stand or within the WTM, we mention: the presentation of the tourist destination Romania to the largest tour operators present at the fair, an artistic performance created by Subcarpati band and the Crafting Influencers – Women Edition debate, together with six entrepreneurs from the Romanian diaspora,” the press release states.
Within the Romania stand, at the WTM London tourism fair, also participating are representatives of several relevant associations and local public authorities, namely: the National Association of Travel Agencies, the Romanian Ecotourism Association, the Suceava County Council, the Incoming Romania Association the for the Promotion and Development of Prahova Tourism, the Sibiu County Tourism Association, the Association for the Promotion of Timisoara, the Karpaten Association for Sustainable Development, the Maramures County Council, the Patronage of Private Medical Services Providers – PALMED, the Constanta County Council.
Alongside the members of the MAT delegation, coordinated by Secretary of State Tudorita Lungu, also attending the event are representatives of the CBTN, including head of the CBTN Mihai Barsan.
