Ministry of Internal Affairs unbiased towards any political interest, relevant minister Predoiu says

Published on

Deputy Prime Minister Catalin Predoiu, Minister of Internal Affairs, believes that the institution he leads is unbiased towards any political interest, and the elections were held and will be held in compliance with the law.

„Since I came to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, one of the first messages I gave, both inside the structures and outside, is that the Ministry of Internal Affairs, through all its structures, is unbiased towards any political interest. The elections have always been held based on the law, some of the organizational attributions, some of them, also fell to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, namely those related to public order and safety, and they were held in a proportion of almost 100%, with small isolated cases, without incidents, and where there were incidents, legal procedures were activated. The elections will always be held in compliance with the law. The Ministry of Internal Affairs will carry out its missions politically unbiased”, Predoiu said at the Senate on Monday.
