The reverse will show the portrait, signature and name of George Calinescu and his birth and death years, ‘1899 – 1965’.

The silver coins are housed in transparent plastic capsules and are accompanied by leaflets featuring a presentation of the numismatic issue and certificates of authenticity in Romanian, English and French. The certificates of authenticity bear the signatures of the Governor and the Chief Cashier of the National Bank of Romania.

The maximum mintage is 5,000 silver coins.
