National Youth Day/Marcel Ciolacu: Young people, society’s main resource, source of courage and motivation

Published on

Young people are society’s main resource, a source of courage and motivation, Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu said in his message on National Youth Day on Friday.

„You are society’s main resource, a source of courage and motivation for us all! The exceptional results, reflecting your dreams and efforts, obtained in your daily activity or in various competitions at home and abroad, fill our hearts with joy, inspire us and challenge us to develop. I am highly confident in your ability to shape tomorrow’s Romania, with access to quality education, equal opportunities for employment and professional affirmation,” reads Marcel Ciolacu’s message to young people.

He pointed out that young people who were born after the country’s accession to the European Union on January 1, 2007 will vote for the first time in Sunday’s presidential elections, and that their vote is „essential in maintaining Romania’s Euro-Atlantic path”.

„You are thus becoming an active part of the decisions that affect the destiny of our country. Romania needs you, your courage and your potential: I encourage you to stay involved, to believe in your strength to change things for the better. Happy birthday to all young people in Romania!”, added Marcel Ciolacu.
