Open Day at Ministry of Foreign Affairs:Guided tours, exhibitions with archival documents and diplomatic events

Guided tours, thematic exhibitions with unpublished documents from the historical archive and presentations of diplomatic events of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) will be organized on Friday, on the occasion of Open Doors Day, at the headquarters and at the Consular Personnel Training Center.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the event, held every year on the occasion of Romanian Diplomacy Day, aims to offer the public, from a historical and contemporary perspective, a direct image of Romanian diplomatic and consular action.

Visitors will have the opportunity to discover, between 12:00 and 18:00, at the institution’s headquarters at Aleea Alexandru no. 31, sector 1, the activity of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in an interactive way through: guided tours, thematic exhibitions with unpublished documents from the historical archive and presentations of diplomatic events: receptions of foreign officials, political consultations, working lunches and dinners, negotiations, signing of documents.

At the Consular Personnel Training Center, located at 17 Daniel Constantin Street, sector 1, information will be presented regarding consular activity, namely the consular services and procedures carried out at the level of a diplomatic mission and a consular office.

Participation is by appointment, until Wednesday, by completing the registration form, available at the following link: https://forms.gle/AieSiaH2YLZQoDVv9. Visitors will only be allowed access to the building with a valid ID and in compliance with the established schedule, the press release states.
