The number of registrations of natural and legal persons decreased, in the first six months of 2024, by 12.20%, compared to the similar period of the previous year, totaling 68,223 units.
Of these, 73.5%, respectively 50,149, are limited liability companies (SRL), and 22.44% (15,310) are authorized natural persons (PFA), according to the data centralized by the National Trade Registry Office (ONRC), consulted by AGERPRES.
The most registrations were registered in the Municipality of Bucharest, respectively 15,802 (plus 1.51%, compared to the first semester of 2024) and in the counties of Ilfov – with 3,957 (minus 2.51%), Cluj – with 3,469 (minus 17, 89%), Timis – with 3,098 (minus 12.46%), Iasi – with 2,687 (minus 8.88%), Brasov – with 2,498 (minus 6.2%) and Constanta – with 2,497 (minus 13.03%).
At the opposite pole, the lowest number of registrations was recorded, in the first six months of this year, in the counties: Covasna – 329 (down 32.96% compared to the same period in 2023), Tulcea (440, minus 18.06%), Ialomita (448, minus 13.68%) and Caras-Severin (474, minus 22.93%).
According to ONRC, the fields in which the most registrations were made are: wholesale and retail trade; motor vehicle and motorcycle repair (13,335, minus 7.98% compared to the first semester of 2023), transport and storage (8,397, plus 3.9%) and construction (6,891, minus 12.07%).
In June 2024, 9,347 natural and legal persons were registered, the most in Bucharest (2,270) and in the counties of Ilfov (579), Cluj (449) and Timis (432).
