Sportswoman Ancuta Bodnar declared, on Thursday, at the Rowing Evening event, that she has three Olympic medals, two gold and one silver, obtained at the last two editions of the Games, but she still wants more.
„I am grateful for everything I have achieved, I worked very hard for these results. But without God and without the people around me I would not have succeeded. I am extremely happy that I have three Olympic medals (gold in double rowing at Tokyo 2020, gold in 8+1 and silver in double rowing in Paris 2024, ed. n.) at this moment and I can say that I want more. It was a special moment in Paris, there are feelings that you can only experience at the Olympic Games, it compares to no other title. When you get on the podium, it’s the happiest day,” she said.
„It was a special edition of the Games, a very difficult one, but I am extremely glad that in such a fierce competition I was able to emerge victorious. I have not yet set my next goal, for now I want to enjoy my vacation. But I remain in rowing, I don’t want to say four more years, I’m going to gradually take it up to the Los Angeles Games,” added the 25-year-old rower.
