Partial results at Bucharest’s Sector 1: George Tuta – 36.44%, Clotilde Armand – 35.73%

George Tuta (candidate of the Social Democratic Party, PSD – Nation al Liberal Party, PNL electoral alliance) won the position of mayor of Sector 1 of Bucharest, after obtaining 36.44% of the votes (24,323 votes), after centralizing the data from 122 polling stations.

According to the data uploaded on the website of the Standing Electoral Authority, his main opponent, the incumbent mayor Clotilde Armand (candidate of the United Right Alliance), would have obtained 35.73% (23,850 votes).

In Bucharest’s Sector 1, the voter turnout at the close of the polls (22:00) on Sunday was 46.56% of the total voters registered in the lists.
