A total of 28.2% of Bucharest residents said they would vote for Daniel Baluta for the position of general mayor of the Capital, 27.1% for Ciprian Ciucu, 21% for Anca Alexandrescu and 11.1% for Catalin Drula, according to a survey conducted by Inscop Research.
When asked how certain they were that they would go to vote if the election for the Capital’s mayor were held next Sunday, 64.6% of respondents said they would definitely vote and 11.5% said they definitely would not.
Regarding voting intention among potential voters, meaning those who stated a voting option (71.2% of the total sample), 28.2% of respondents said they would vote for Daniel Baluta, 27.1% for Ciprian Ciucu, 21% for Anca Alexandrescu, 11.1% for Catalin Drula, 6.9% for Ana Ciceala and 12% for another candidate.
The situation changes slightly for mobilised voters, meaning those who expressed a voting option and say they will definitely go to vote (52.6% of the total sample). Among these, 28.9% will vote for Ciprian Ciucu, 27.4% for Daniel Baluta, 21.2% for Anca Alexandrescu, 10.9% for Catalin Drula, 8.3% for Ana Ciceala and 3.3% for another candidate.
The survey was carried out by Inscop Research between 2 and 3 December through telephone interviews, with a sample of 1,200 people and a maximum admitted margin of error of plus or minus 2.8% at a 95% confidence level. AGERPRES
