The Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, Daniel, sent a message on Tuesday to the Apostolic Administrator of the Archdiocese of Vienna, Josef Grunwidl, in which he expressed his sadness following the tragic event at a school in Graz, where 10 people were killed and several others wounded.
„I received with great sadness the news of the tragic event that took place at a secondary school in Graz on Tuesday morning, which caused the death of 10 people and the injury of several others. In these moments of sadness for the Austrian people, we pray to the Merciful God to grant eternal peace and love to the souls of those killed in this tragic event. We also pray for the speedy recovery of the injured and for comfort to the grieving families,” Patriarch Daniel said, according to the Basilica Agency of the Romanian Patriarchate.
