PM Ciolacu condemns rocket attacks against Israel

Published on

Romania’s Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu on Saturday condemned the rocket attacks against Israel, showing that Romania is standing „in full solidarity with Israel” and asking for these attacks to immediately stop, write Agerpres.

„Terrible news coming from Israel this morning. We stand in full solidarity with Israel and condemn the rocket attacks against Israel. We send our condolences to the families and ask for these attacks to immediately stop,” Ciolacu wrote in a social media post on Saturday.

The Israeli army declared a state of war following Saturday’s massive attacks on Israel from the Palestinian Gaza Strip. Before that, the leader of the armed wing of the Hamas movement announced the launch of an operation – „Al-Aqsa Flood” – against Israel, launching hundreds of rockets from the Gaza Strip on Israeli territory.
