President Nicusor Dan will pay an official visit to Chisinau on Tuesday.

According to the program announced by the Presidential Administration, at 1:40 PM the Romanian president will be received by the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu.

After the official reception ceremony, the two presidents are scheduled to have tete-a-tete talks as well as in the plenary session of the two delegations, followed by a joint press conference (around 3:10 PM).

A meeting is also scheduled with Olympiad-winning pupils from the Republic of Moldova.

Nicusor Dan will then lay a wreath of flowers at the Monument of Stephen the Great and Holy.

At 6:00 PM, the Romanian head of state will have a meeting with the President of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova, Igor Grosu, and the Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean, after which he will attend an official dinner hosted by President Maia Sandu.

In the evening, President Nicusor Dan will take part in the event „The Common European Future of Romania and the Republic of Moldova”, together with his Moldovan counterpart.
