President Iohannis holds bilateral meeting with South Korean counterpart on the sidelines of Vilnius Summit

Special AGERPRES correspondent Florentina Peia reports: President Klaus Iohannis on Tuesday, on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in Vilnius, had a bilateral meeting with his South Korean counterpart, Yoon Suk-Yeol, write Agerpres.

„I had an excellent meeting with the President of South Korea, Yoon Suk-Yeol, on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in Vilnius, where we discussed concrete ways of deepening the Strategic Partnership between our countries through high-level dialogue, economic cooperation, including through new investments in Romania,” the Romanian head of state wrote on Twitter.

He stated that the discussions with the South Korean counterpart also focused on joint support for Ukraine.

The head of state also had a bilateral meeting with the president of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Joelle Garriaud-Maylam.

President Klaus Iohannis is participating, on Tuesday and Wednesday, in the NATO Summit in Vilnius.
