President-elect Nicusor Dan thanks Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for his congratulations, assuring him of his commitment to strengthening relations between Romania and Israel.

„I sincerely appreciate your message and deeply value the historical friendship between Romania and Israel. I assure you of my commitment to strengthening the relations between our nations, united by common cultural ties and a strong dedication to efficient cooperation in areas such as: technology, education, culture and the preservation of historical memory,” Nicusor Dan wrote on Thursday on the X network.

The message came after Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu sent congratulations, on the same social network, to Nicusor Dan, for his election as president.

„I look forward to working with you to further strengthen the great relationship of friendship between Romania and Israel,” the Israeli prime minister wrote on the X network.
