Minister of Research, Innovation and Digital Transformation Bogdan Ivan said on Friday in Bistrita that at a meeting next week of the committee on e-governance the first 30 public bodies of Romania will be chosen to migrate to the government cloud, with the National Tax Administration Agency (ANAF) being given priority in the process, write Agerpres.
„So that you don’t just have some servers that don’t work, so that you can interconnect them, so that you can have the same interconnected database at the Population Registry, at the Commercial Companies Registry, and at ANAF, so that you don’t have to walk five times with the same papers to the Romanian state; we are almost half a year ahead of another very important funding of EUR 520 million euros that we will unveil next week at the e-governance committee meeting that I lead together with the Prime Minister of Romania, Marcel Ciolacu, in which we confirm the first 30 public bodies of Romania that will migrate to the government cloud. From my point of view, ANAF will get priority ,” Ivan told a seminar organised by the Bistrita-Nasaud Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).
The minister added that he is waiting for feedback from the business community and chambers of commerce before the end of September regarding the bodies in the government cloud, to see which of them are considered priorities by entrepreneurs.
Ivan on Friday was invited by CCI Bistrita-Nasaud to attend an information seminar on „Digital transformation – opportunity and challenge for companies and employees,” organised under the „InFormat 4.0 – Digiskills” project, implemented in partnership with the Cluj IT Cluster of Cluj County and Business Saga of Alba County.
