Seismologists revised the magnitude of the earthquake that occurred on Monday morning at 7:25 AM in Buzau County, increasing it to 3.6 Richter scale degrees.
Additionally, the depth at which the earthquake occurred has been revised from 140 km to 123.4 km. The earthquake took place near the following cities: 52 km west of Focsani, 52 km northwest of Buzau, 67 km southeast of Sfantu-Gheorghe, 73 km east of Brasov, and 80 km northeast of Ploiesti.
In March, Romania experienced 35 earthquakes, with magnitudes ranging from 2 to 3.9.
Last year, the strongest earthquake had a magnitude of 5.4 and occurred in Buzau County on September 16.
