The Senate begins a new ordinary session on Monday, September 2, the last of this legislature.

”The Senate is convened in the second ordinary session of 2024, on Monday, September 2, 2024, at 15:00 hrs,” reads the decision signed by Senate President Nicolae Ciuca, published Thursday in the Official Journal.

The decision on the start of MEPs’ activity was also published in the Official Journal.

”The Chamber of Deputies is convened in the second ordinary session of the year 2024, on Monday, September 2, 2024, at 15:00”, reads the document signed by interim speaker of the Chamber of Deputies, Alfred Simonis.

The parliamentary session that starts on Monday is the last of the current legislature, as general elections are scheduled for early December.
