State of alert approved for Galati and Vaslui counties

The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU) announced on Monday evening that the state of alert was approved for the counties of Galati and Vaslui, as a result of the floods in the last few days.

„Following the decisions of the County Committees for Emergency Situations established in Galati and Vaslui counties, through which the declaration of the state of alert was requested, in accordance with the legal provisions in force, the Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Catalin Predoiu, approved the establishment of the state of alert at the level of the two counties”, informed IGSU.

According to the quoted source, the information was sent from the Department for Emergency Situations to the Institutions of the Prefect of Galati and Vaslui, and new decisions will be issued by the County Committees for Emergency Situations, which will include specific measures that must be taken to support the communities affected by the floods.
