The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Monday’s session with increases on most indices, with the turnover amounting to 5.3 million lei (1.07 million euros) after 30 minutes of trading.

The main index, BET, which tracks the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded an appreciation of 0.43%, while the BET-Plus index, which tracks the performance of the 43 most liquid stocks on BVB, saw an increase of 0.37%.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, which tracks the 25 most liquid titles, gained 0.29%, while the benchmark index for investment funds, BET-BK, depreciated by 0.02%.

The BET-FI index, which tracks the performance of the SIFs (Financial Investment Companies), recorded a decrease of 0.71%, while the BET-NG index, which includes the 10 companies from the energy and utilities sector, registered an increase of 0.51%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, remained flat.

According to BVB data, the biggest stock gains were registered by SIF Hoteluri (+12.10%), Promateris (+7.5%) and Societatea de Constructii Napoca (+4%).

On the other hand, the biggest declines were seen in the stocks of Romcab (-14.23%), TTS (-10.16%) and Alro (-7.67%).
