Stock Exchange openes Tuesday’s trading session with declines across nearly all indices

The Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) opened Tuesday’s trading session with declines across nearly all indices, with a turnover of 4.044 million lei (812,762 euros) 35 minutes after the start of trading.

The main BET index, which tracks the performance of the 20 most liquid companies, recorded a 0.36% drop, while the BET-Plus index, which tracks the performance of the 43 most liquid stocks on the BVB, showed a 0.33% decrease.

At the same time, the extended blue-chip index BET-XT, which includes the 25 most liquid stocks, lost 0.27%, while the investment funds benchmark, BET-BK, depreciated 0.26%.

The BET-FI index of the SIFs (Financial Investment Companies) showed an increase of 0.57%, while the BET-NG index, which includes the 10 companies in the energy and utilities sectors, recorded a decline of 0.45%.

The BET AeRO index, which includes 20 representative companies from the AeRO market, was down 0.50%.

According to BVB data, the biggest increases in stock values were seen by Romcab (+14.82%), Grupul Industrial Electrocontact (+13.92%), and Condmag (+8.33%).

On the other hand, the stocks of Electroaparataj (-12.87%), Alumil Rom Industry (-2.54%), and SSIF BRK Financial Group (-2.21%) were down.
