The operation by which Rheinmetall Landsysteme GmbH intends to take over Automecanica Medias SRL and its subsidiary, Atelierele Speciale Autocamion Medias SRL, has been authorized by the Competition Council, as it informs in a press release sent to AGERPRES on Tuesday.

This transaction „does not raise significant obstacles to effective competition on the Romanian market or on a substantial part of it and there are no serious doubts regarding its compatibility with a normal competitive environment.”

Automecanica Medias SRL, based in central Sibiu County, is a manufacturer of steel components for heavy transport semi-trailers, special containers, steel and metal structures, interior and exterior metal stairs, assembly of final metal structures, automotive superstructures, as well as customized design and production of parts and components made of steel, stainless steel and aluminum.
